About this tool
How many pages does this PDF have – and the twenty others in the folder? Print shops, translators and anyone who pays or charges per page need the number quickly and reliably. Drop all the files here and you get the page count of each one plus the total, which you can copy or download as a CSV spreadsheet.
Each file also shows what is inside: the page sizes (A4, Letter, A3 … with millimetres), file size, PDF version, creation and modification dates, the program that made it, whether it is password protected or restricted, which fonts are used and whether they are embedded, the number of images, form fields, bookmarks and attachments, and whether it is tagged for accessibility.
The document information is editable: give a report a proper title and author before you publish it, add keywords for search, or remove all of it – title, author, software and dates – before you share a file. Everything runs in your browser; your PDFs are not uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Can I count the pages of many PDFs at once?
Yes. Add as many files as you like; each shows its page count and the total appears at the top. Copy the summary or download it as CSV for a spreadsheet.
Why should fonts be embedded?
An embedded font travels inside the PDF, so the document looks the same everywhere and prints correctly. Fonts that are not embedded are replaced by the reader, which can change the layout.
What does removing the document information do?
It deletes title, author, subject, keywords, the creating software and the dates from the file, including the XMP metadata. Pages and content stay unchanged.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Yes. Enter the password when asked to see the details; if you save, the new file has no password.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything is read and changed in your browser; nothing is sent to our server.
