How to use: Audio Converter

  3. 3 Optionally set bitrate, sample rate, channels or a start and end time under “Options”.
  4. 4 Click “Convert” and confirm the upload; follow the progress of each file.
  5. 5 Download the results when they are ready (kept for 7 days).

About this tool

Which audio formats are supported?

You can convert from AAC, AC3, AIF, AIFC, AIFF, AMR, APE, AU, CAF, DSS, FLAC, M4A, M4B, M4R, MKA, MP3, OGA, OPUS, SF2, SFARK, VOC, WAV, WEBA, WMA and WV – and from every common video format – to AAC, AC3, AIF, AIFC, AIFF, AU, CAF, FLAC, M4A, M4B, M4R, MKA, MP3, OGA, OGG, OPUS, VOC, WAV, WEBA, WMA and WV.

Which format should I choose?

MP3 is the safest choice: it plays on every phone, computer and car radio. M4A (AAC) sounds better at the same size, FLAC and WAV keep full quality, and Opus gives the smallest files.

Can I get the sound of a YouTube video?

We do not download anything from YouTube or other websites – that is against their terms of use. If you have the video file itself, for example your own video downloaded from YouTube Studio, drop it here and save its sound as MP3 or any other format.

How many files can I convert at once?

Up to 10 at a time, each with its own progress. A file can be up to 300 MB and 10 hours long.

What happens to my files?

They are uploaded only after you confirm. Originals are deleted right after conversion; results are kept for 7 days unless you delete them sooner.
