How to use: Spreadsheet Converter

  1. 1 Choose or drop your spreadsheets (up to 10 at once).
  2. 2 Pick the output format for each file, or “Convert all to” one format.
  3. 3 Optionally open “Options” for settings that fit the target (sheets and separator for CSV, one page per sheet for PDF and images).
  4. 4 Click “Convert” and confirm the upload; follow the progress of each file.
  5. 5 Download the results when they are ready (kept for 7 days).

About this tool

Convert any spreadsheet to the format you need: XLSX to work in Excel or Google Sheets, ODS for LibreOffice, CSV to import data into another program, PDF to share or print, DOCX or Markdown to put the tables into a document, or JPG and PNG to show them as pictures. Apple Numbers, WPS and old StarOffice files can be opened too, and the tables of an HTML page can become a spreadsheet.

Each file is recognised automatically and you choose its target. Up to 10 files are converted at once in the background – keep using the site and download each result as soon as it is ready.

Which spreadsheet formats are supported?

You can convert from XLSX, XLS, XLSM, XLTX, XLT, ODS, OTS, FODS, CSV, TSV, DIF, SLK, NUMBERS, ET and SDC, and to XLSX, XLS, XLSM, XLTX, XLT, ODS, OTS, FODS, CSV, TSV, DIF, SLK, PDF, HTML, DOCX, ODT, RTF, MD, RST, TEX, XPS, DJVU, JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP and TIFF.

Why can I not convert to Numbers, ET or SDC?

No program outside Apple, Kingsoft or the old StarOffice writes these formats correctly, so we only read them. Convert to XLSX instead – Numbers and WPS Spreadsheets both open XLSX.

Are formulas and formatting kept?

Between spreadsheet formats such as XLSX, XLS and ODS, yes: sheets, formulas, number formats and styles are kept. CSV, TSV, DIF and SYLK hold plain values only, and documents, PDF and images show the values as they appear.

How many files can I convert at once?

Up to 10 at a time, each up to 100 MB. Each runs as its own background job with its own progress.

What happens to my files?

They are uploaded only after you confirm. Originals are deleted right after conversion; results are kept for 7 days unless you delete them sooner.

Is it free?
