Files to convert
Your images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. If a file is too large for your browser or in a format it can’t handle, we ask before converting it on our server. The original is deleted right after conversion; the result is kept for 7 days for you to download, unless you delete it sooner. Privacy details

About this tool
Use this converter when you have files in several formats, or don't want to look for the right converter page. It recognises every file by its content, not its name, and only offers formats that make sense for it.
It reads JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, SVG images and PDF documents. Images can be saved as JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO or PDF (one PDF per image, or several combined into one); PDF pages become images at the resolution you choose.
Which format should you choose?
- JPG: best for photos when you need maximum compatibility. No transparency.
- PNG: lossless and supports transparency. Best for screenshots, logos and graphics, and for images you will edit again.
- WebP and AVIF: much smaller files than JPG or PNG at similar quality, with transparency. Supported by all modern browsers, but not by every program.
- PDF: for documents, forms and printing.
Several files are converted at the same time, so small files are ready while large ones are still being processed. Animated GIF and WebP files are converted using their first frame. Files are converted in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Which formats are supported?
Input: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, SVG and PDF. Output: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO and PDF. PDF pages can be saved in any of these image formats except ICO.
Why is WebP output not available in my browser?
Creating WebP files depends on the browser. Most browsers can, but some versions of Safari cannot. When that happens the tool explains it and, if available, offers to create the WebP on our server with your permission.
What happens to animated GIFs?
The first frame is converted to a still image. JPG, PNG and WebP still images can't hold animation.
Is there a limit on the number of files?
You can add up to 50 files at a time. Several are converted at the same time, as far as your device’s memory allows, so small files don’t have to wait for large ones.
