About this tool

Scanned pages often come out sideways or upside down, and documents that mix portrait and landscape pages are awkward to read on screen. Turning the page in a viewer only changes your view; this tool saves the rotation in the PDF itself, so it opens the right way up everywhere.

You can turn all pages at once, only a selection – for example all even pages of a stack scanned the other way round – or single pages with the ↻ button on the page itself. Every turn is shown immediately on the thumbnails, and “Undo all turns” brings back the original orientation.

Only the orientation changes: the page content, text and image quality stay exactly the same. The rotated PDF is created in your browser and nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Is the rotation saved permanently?

Yes. The new orientation is stored in the PDF, so it is right in every viewer and when printing.

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Select pages by tapping them, typing ranges like 2, 4-6 or with Odd/Even, then press a rotate button. Single pages can also be turned with ↻.

Does rotating reduce the quality?

No. Only the orientation of the page changes; the content is not re-rendered.

What does 270° mean here?

⟲ 90° turns the page anti-clockwise, which is the same as 270° clockwise.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is changed in your browser.
