About this tool

Bank statements, price lists, timetables and financial reports often only exist as PDF, while the work happens in a spreadsheet. Copying a table out of a PDF usually ends in one long column of jumbled text. This converter finds the columns from how the text lines up on the page and writes every row into proper cells – one worksheet per page or all pages in one sheet. Amounts like 1.234,50 or 1,234.50 and percentages become real numbers, so sums and formulas work at once.

Choose CSV (with a comma or semicolon) for import into accounting software, or XLSX for Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers and LibreOffice. Scanned statements work too: OCR recognises the text in your browser first. Your financial documents are never uploaded – everything happens on your device.

Frequently asked questions

How are the columns found?

From the gaps between the words: text that lines up vertically across rows becomes one column. Clear tables give the best result; check merged cells and multi-line headers afterwards.

Are numbers converted correctly?

Yes, when “Turn numbers into real numbers” is on: 1.234,50, 1,234.50, −12 and 15 % become numbers you can calculate with. Ambiguous values stay text.

Which separator should I use for CSV?

Comma for most programs and English Excel; semicolon for Excel in many European languages, where the comma is the decimal separator.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser and nothing is sent to our server.
