About this tool

Often you only need part of a document: the signed page of a contract, one chapter of a manual, the pages of a statement that concern one account. This tool copies exactly the pages you choose into a new PDF and leaves the original untouched.

Every page is shown as a thumbnail; tap the ones you want and they are marked with a tick. You can also type page numbers and ranges such as “1-3, 5, 8-” (8- means to the end), or use the quick buttons for all, odd, even or inverted selections – the field and the thumbnails always stay in step. The pages keep their order from the original and are copied unchanged, so text stays searchable.

If you prefer, each selected page becomes a separate PDF, downloadable one by one or as a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded: the new file is made in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from Split PDF?

Extract makes one new PDF (or one file per page) from the pages you pick; Split cuts the whole document into consecutive parts.

Can I select pages that are not next to each other?

Yes. Tap any pages or type them separated by commas, e.g. 2, 5, 9-11.

Is the original PDF changed?

No. Your file stays as it is; the selected pages are copied into a new PDF.

Will the text still be searchable?

Yes. The pages are copied as they are, including text, links and images.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser and the document stays on your device.
