About this tool

Putting pictures next to each other is the simplest way to show a before/after comparison, two product variants, several screenshots of a conversation as one long image, or the pages of a receipt in a single file.

Images can be joined side by side or one below the other. By default they are scaled to the same height (or width when stacking) as the smallest one, so nothing is enlarged and the edges line up; you can also match the largest or keep every image at its original size and align them at the start, centre or end. Spacing between images and an outer margin can be set in pixels, with a transparent, white, black or any background colour showing through.

Reorder the images by dragging or with the arrow buttons, add more at any time (also by pasting with Ctrl+V) and watch the live preview with the final size in pixels. The images are combined by your browser and are not uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Do the images need to be the same size?

No. By default they are scaled to the height (side by side) or width (stacked) of the smallest image, so they line up. Choose "Keep original sizes" to leave them unchanged.

How do I make a long screenshot from several?

Choose "One below the other", set spacing to 0 and order the screenshots from top to bottom.

Can I add a gap or border between the images?

Yes. Set the space between images and the outer margin in pixels and pick the background colour that fills them.

Is there a limit to the number of images?

You can add many images; the only limit is the size of the result your browser can handle. The tool warns you if it would be too large.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Merging happens in your browser and the images stay on your device.
