About this tool

AVIF is the newest web image format, based on the AV1 video codec. It usually gives the smallest files at good quality and supports transparency.

With this converter you can turn AVIF files into JPG, PNG, PDF, WebP, GIF, ICO, TIFF and BMP. Drop as many files as you like, also in other formats: each file is recognised and gets its own choice of format and options.

No. Files are converted in your browser. Only if a file is too large for your device does the tool offer to convert it on our server, and it always asks first.
