About this tool

XLSX is the standard Microsoft Excel workbook format since Excel 2007, opened by Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers and LibreOffice. TSV (tab-separated values) is a plain-text table with tabs between the columns, safe for values that contain commas.

This converter turns your XLSX file into TSV, the right choice for data exchange, scripts and pasting tables between programs. The values of the first sheet – or of every sheet, each as its own file – are saved as TSV in UTF-8; formulas become their results and formatting is dropped.
